Thanks to our sweet friend Paige, we had the most delicious garden fresh corn yesterday. Not to mention a freezer full of more yummy goodness. Just look at it.....doesn't it make your mouth water???? This is the before picture.....
...and here is the after picture. Wayne, being from corn country, will not even let me purchase corn on the cob from the local grocery store....so this was a real treat. Paige and her family picked it, shucked it, and trimmed the ends for us. And Emily and I blanched it, cooled it, dried it, bagged it, and packed it into our freezer. We are in for corn goodness this year. And Paige says if we can find more freezer space...we can have more. Life is good.

you are so spoiled! Yummy, nothing is better than corn fresh from the garden. I hate buying corn at the store-you don't know how old it is. I wish I was close enough to try that! What else does she grow?
