Just Like Riding A Bike........

I started smocking one of the Easter dresses earlier today. I was worried it might be difficult since I have not smocked in almost five years now. However.....it was just like riding a bike.....it all came back to me (but in a good way). I started on one of the sleeves first, just in case I made a huge error it would not be so visible. But, so far so good. I believe I have just over four weeks now until Easter....and two dresses, one pair of short overalls, and one shirt to go!

On a funny note, yesterday while unloading the dishwasher, I asked Ethan to help me put the plastic kid cups away. I store them in a drawer so that any of the children can reach them and get themselves or their sibling a cup of water whenever. Anyway, Ethan put every cup away.....one at a time. So, today I was thinking I was on to something......so I asked him to put the cups away once again. He took the first cup and put it into the drawer. Then he picked up the second cup and right before he put it away he tried to drink out of it thus licking the entire rim. Next cup....he did the same thing. Next cup....same thing. He basically licked ALL the CLEAN cups as he put them away. Too funny!!!! I am not sure if I will request his help tomorrow or not. I think he is learning early how to get out of doing chores around the house.
