Here are some knitted items that Emily has been working on lately. Her knitting abilites amaze me. She made all these items with absolutely no help from me or anyone else.
Above are four bookmarks that she made for Wayne and me for our anniversary a couple weeks back. We read books non-stop in our house....reading rates right up there with knitting, sewing, and quilting.....so bookmarks are always needed.
This photo is a little blurry...but it is a ball. The girls love to toss it around the house and since it is full of stuffing I don't mind so much.
This is a necklace that Emily made from a Knitty Gritty pattern. She asked me to print out the instructions and that was it. This is the first cable pattern that she has ever done.....but she had no problem. She never even asked for help....and she completed it in under 24 hours. Amazing!
And here is the scarf that Emily made for Elisabeth. I have already posted pictures of Elisabeth wearing it here. Emily has also made her doll a scarf and me a scarf. I have to round these items up and get a picture.
And just so you know that she doesn't knit all the time.....here are the girls working on their laundry. They love to wash, hang dry, and then iron their clothes. They used to launder their doll clothes, but now they have graduated to their own clothes.

Way to go Emilly! I love the cable knit. It looks like the stuff your mom does. I love the picture of them doing their laundry. How cute are they?
