“Outer order contributes to inner calm.”
~ Gretchen Rubin
Before I start a new project of any kind, I like to pause and tidy things up a bit. If I am going to bake, I like to straighten and wipe off the counters first. If I am starting a new sewing project, I like to organize my sewing area before beginning. And if I’m starting a new crochet or knitting project, I like my yarn to be tangle-free and ready to go. So today I transformed this untidy ball of yarn into a tidy one. Creating this pause before a task gives me a few moments to freshen my space, calm my thoughts, and get ready to enjoy my next endeavor.
Do you do this? How was your Thursday? I’m cheering for you!!! 🧶🌿☀️
~Cindy
