It was another gorgeous autumn day! I was able to sit down and work on this sweet preemie gown. I finished the smocking and then sewed the side seams with French seams. I decided to hem the gown by hand. I find hand sewing so relaxing and enjoyable, and often I pray for the recipient.
I usually finish about 10 preemie gowns and then donate them to our NICU. But as it turns out, I just learned that a dear friend has a family member in our local NICU. I am going to get this gown to her hopefully tomorrow. I am thrilled that I am able to be part of God's plan for that sweet baby to have this gown. You just never know when or how God will use you!!!
