I know this picture is terrible! But it is my proof that I have been doing a tad bit of smocking this week. I am working on the program for our next Smocking Guild meeting. I'll show the finished ornament after the meeting. I'm sure most of you know that it's the top and the bottom of the ornament that cause the most grief. This design is from the Holiday 1988 issue of Sew Beautiful....and fortunately it is a quick stitch!
