The blue baby boy quilt is done and I love it!!!! I wasn't too sure about it until I put the binding on. And that was all it took. I love how calming and relaxing it is. And I like the diagonal positioning of the squares. I'm not sure how I would like it if they were all random.
I used the medium blue fabric for the backing and the dark blue for the binding. I think it pulls it all together. And as I mentioned before, I did not pre-wash the fabric....so when I did wash it it made it all puckery (is that a word????). I like it. Now to finish a few more projects in the next few weeks!!! Three weeks from today...the sweet baby is due to arrive...unless he comes sooner. We'll see!!!
