I forgot to mention what pattern I used for the Christmas pj's. I'm sure you could have figured it out but I used the Miss Madeline pattern from Samantha of the Handmade Dress. Emily wanted her pj's to have short sleeves so I made no changes to the pattern. Elisabeth wanted long sleeves so I altered the pattern to grant her her wish. The other thing I did was to use grosgrain ribbon around the middle rather than a coordinating fabric strip. For Ethan's pj pants I used the pants pattern from his Tin Man costume. It only has a inseam and no seam on the outside of the leg. And they are roomy enough that they are very comfortable. All three of the kids love their pj's. It is not unusual for all three of them to wear them almost every night. Oh, and I forgot to mention that I used a flannel fabric for them...they are so warm and soft!!!

I know I'm thinking waaay in advance, but I want to make pj's for all the kids this year for Christmas. They're outgrowing their ones I made a few years ago, so it is time for new ones.
I love the ones you made. The plaid flannel is gorgeous! I think I will have to make a trip to our fabric store and see if they have any flannel on sale...
Other than one little jacket a while back, I think those are my favorite of all your beautiful projects!!They are classic and simply sweet!
Great PJs! And I love Elisabeth's little blue microcheck dress!
Deborah....now may be the time to stock up on flannel. I'm not sure when they put it on sale. Thanks for the kind words!!
Hopewell...thanks so much for the sweet comment. Classic clothes are my favorite for little ones!!
