Our Daddy's Day started this morning with scrambled eggs, toast and juice on the veranda....ok, it's really our back patio. The weather was gorgeous.
Then the Dad opened the gifts the little ones had been working hard on all week. Together we made him six hand embroidered handkerchiefs.....the girls had SO much fun working on them to surprise him. And he LOVES them!!!
And Mom made one for him too!
We also had a nice lunch - inside because it was way too hot that time of day! And after naps and some game-playing, we had a yummy dinner - outside again. We sure are enjoying our table and chairs we purchased a few weeks ago. Wayne has breakfast outside with the kids pretty often! We also both spoke to our own dads on the telephone since they both live out of state. All in all....it was a great day!!
Tomorrow night is my class on crochet edgings....send positive thoughts my way!!! I'll be back soon to share the garments I am taking tomorrow evening. And I haven't forgotten the people that have sent me emails...I promise to answer them in the next day or so. I have lived and breathed the preparations for this class for the last month. More later!!
