We are still hooked on beads in this house. All three kids will sit for hours and string beads on pipecleaners.
Sometimes they just play with the beads. And no, I never let the littlest one play with beads in my absence. I realize that is not safe. Fortunately none of my little ones have been what I term "mouth babies." They never went through the phase of putting stuff in their mouths.
I wasn't even sure Ethan would be able to string the beads onto the pipecleaners....but he sure surprised me!
And now we have about 8 to 10 beaded hearts that are hanging in our kitchen windows catching and reflecting sunlight. They are beautiful. Thanks Mrs. Paige for a fun activity for the little ones. And if anyone is interested.....the small beads are 8mm in size and the two large ones are 12 mm.
I am still finishing up the last baby item that I previously mentioned. I also have been working on a bishop dress for an heirloom shop owner to display. I can't wait to show you all because the fabric and colors are way different then anything I would have picked out....but it is really coming together and it looks awesome!!!!

Those beads look like a lot of fun. Abbie and I do a lot of bead projects. Ethan just has fine motor skills. That's a good thing! I never had mouth babies either. My kids never put toys in their mouths. Except Taylor, when he was 18 months, he used to try to eat green crayons. He only liked the green ones, never any other colors!
