I have to brag a little here. Emily told me she wanted to embroider a train for her brother. I pulled the muslin out of the fabric closet and traced the train for her. That was the extent of my participation.
The next think I knew she had created this fantastic work of art. She even matched the embroidery floss to the colors in the fabrics. I knew this was too good to be left languishing in the bottom of a basket somewhere. I suggested she turn it into a pillow for Ethan. She agreed and the next thing I did was to cut the fabrics for her and set up her sewing machine. She got busy while I cleaned the kitchen.
The next thing I knew a new pillow had been born. This is the back of the pillow. She even sewed up the hole where she turned the pillow. She is amazing. And the equally cute part is Ethan with his pillow. He lovingly embraces the pillow and carries it around the house. Sometimes he even takes it in the car with us. He points to it and says "oo-oo." Priceless!!!!

Excellent job Emily. She has the dexterity of a much older child. Good for her. I'm sure Ethan will love his oo-oo train for some time to come!
