....of the year. This is the quilt block of the month for February. I need to get cracking and finish up the block for March. I don't have to pick up the next installment until the second Saturday of April though.....plenty of time. These fabrics still are not my first choice.....but I must say they are growing on me somewhat.
The weather has been gorgeous the past few days. We've been outside playing ball, drawing with sidewalk chalk, riding bikes, visiting with neighbors, etc. I love Spring! The girls have been bugging us to get their summer clothes out. Since I grew up in sunny Florida, I always thought it was odd when people said they stored their off-season clothes. (I practically wore the same clothes year round there.) But now I know what they meant. We purchased a big bin for each child that we store in the garage. Twice a year we clean out their drawers and store clothes until the following season change. I do not know why the girls get so excited...but you would think it is Christmas when the bins are opened. We will probably get them out this weekend. The girls will be thrilled and much cooler!
I've been making tons of muffins lately. Not really sure why.....but we really enjoy muffins. In the past few days we have made blueberry muffins, banana muffins, applesauce muffins, and our current favorite, chocolate chip muffins. I will post the recipe one day....it is quick and easy and yummy!!!!

Sounds like you have been a busy little beaver. Spring brings all kinds of great feelings. It also brings a renewed energy. Muffins sound good right now-yummy! I'm sure the kids are glad to get outside. Since I'm still in Florida, we don't get to clean out and store until the kids have outgrown their clothes. We didn't even buy them winter coats this year, just sweaters. What a difference geography makes!
