Happy Tuesday

Finally, here are the pillows the girls sewed the other evening. Emily made the yellow printed pillow.....but promptly gave it to Elisabeth. Elisabeth made the pillow made with the red print fabric and promptly gave it to Emily. They both turned out fantastic and it makes me smile to know that a) they made them themselves, b) they did such a great job, c) they enjoyed it and ask to sew all the time, and finally d) each of them wanted to bless their sister with the final product. That warms my heart.



Here is a picture I took of Ethan while he was on his vacuum hunt. His favorite thing to do is vacuum...and yes, it is a full-size vacuum. He will crawl all over this house to find where we hide the vacuum. He knows it is usually kept in our utility closet....but after investigating there and not finding it (because we have hid it) he will stake out the entire house until he locates it. His second favorite hobby is dusting. He loves to get hold of a duster and wipe down everything within reach. Strange hobbies....but a sweet boy!!!

I have acquired a lot of fabric and patterns over the last week or so due to a local quilt/heirloom store (not one of my two favorites, thankfully) going out of business. I'll have to take a picture so you can see how many projects I have in my future.

I have another jumper almost finished for Emily. It lacks buttons....maybe tomorrow I can venture out to find some. I think Emily has enough jumpers to qualify her to be a honorary Duggar by now. And for those of you that follow the amazing Duggar family, like we do, we hear Michelle is expecting baby number 17 this summer!!! Emily is hoping we can go visit them for vacation sometime!!! I'd love that!!!!
