Free-Motion Quilting Fun.......

The other day I forgot to mention that I also signed up on-line for a pin cushion swap with a group of homeschooling moms. So today I got busy working on a bright and fun pin cushion. I had an idea for one...but could not find a pattern so I drew one out. That is so much easier and faster than drafting kid's clothes! I also thought it would be a great opportunity to practice my free-motion quilting. I only do this type of quilting every few years so I never really take the time to get good at it. But I am ok with that! I will show pictures of the finished pin cushion after the swap is completed. But I do like it so much I am going to make myself one.

Ha! Fun for you...it reduced me to tears! Maybe you can teach me FMQ when I see you next month! :) It looks really cute the way you're outlining the flowers!

Laura....I did not say I was good at it...but I just try to have fun without injuring myself!
