Saturday......

We had a great day!!! We all piled in the car and headed out to lunch. We go out to lunch pretty much every Saturday. We generally go to the same place and it's kind of like Cheer's...everyone knows our name. We have our regular table, our beverages are always on the table waiting for us and our favorite server doesn't even have to write down our order... just asks if we are having our "normal." I love that!

After lunch we surprised the kids by taking them to play miniature golf. They had never been to our local golf place so it was fun for them.

I can't wait until we take a trip back to Orlando because I will take them to Pirate's Cove Adventure Golf. I was the assistant manager there for several years while in college. Now that place is a serious miniature golf course!!!

While driving away from the golf course we noticed a radio-controlled plane flying around. So we headed over to the RC field and watched the planes take off and land for awhile. Ethan was completely amazed. Two of the planes had a wingspan of at least 6 feet. That was fun!

And I even managed to get the embroidery planned out and stitched on my little baby dress. I spent hours agonizing over the design...but ultimately I decided to just do something sweet and simple....bullion rosebuds and granitos. I realize it isn't ironed too well yet....but you get the basic idea.

I hope I am not boring you all too much. I thought it would be fun to post more about our daily happens for a day or so. I hope you all are getting some stitching done over this holiday weekend. I am hoping to work more on this sweet little dress. Back soon!!!
