Sweet Little Boy.......

Ean is going to be 9 months old this coming Monday!! I am still not sure where the time has gone. I was looking through some of the things I made for him before he was born. I came across this little outfit and was curious if it still might fit. Imagine my surprise that it did. The top is definitely a little tight across the chest....but the diaper cover still fits fine. You may remember my initial post about this sweet little outfit here. And he did not wear this home from the hospital after all...it was way too big for him. Plus Claudia Newton gave me the sweetest little day gown to bring him home in...and we did.

And this adorable afghan was given to him by Barb and Kay at our local heirloom shop. Their mom makes these gorgeous afghans and I was lucky enough to be given one for sweet Ean.

But back to this baby.....do you see that precious little face? It's the first thing I see in the morning and the last thing I see at night (not to mention in the middle of the night).....heaven, if you ask me!!!

But you really couldn't get the full effect if you didn't see his little knees.....just look at them. I threaten to kiss them off daily!!! I am getting ready to do some more sewing for this sweet little one.....his Easter outfit is next up on the machine.

he is so cute Cindy! looks like he is already blowing you kisses back - baby kisses, all soggy and wet, are the best. My youngest turns 9 months on the 27th - I totally love this age!

It's been a long time since I had such cuteness at my house, but this little guy's knees make me smile! They would make great "monkey lips" - where you squeeze the top and bottom folds and they squish up to look like lips. My babies had great monkey-lip knees too! LOL

Oh, oh, oh! Those chubby little knees are adorable! He is such a cutie! That is amazing that his little outfit still fits.

I love your button tutorial too! I'm hoping to sew a couple of new dresses for the girls soon and I would like to try doing buttons for once instead of zippers because I'm not exactly successful at zippers either :oS.

Blessings!
