What's Next........

I often wonder what others are working on....so I thought I'd share what I'm sewing next.....flannel pj pants for Ethan. But don't tell him that in my haste I accidentally cut the construction vehicles upside down!!! I guess they will be right side up when he has them on and is looking down. That's one way to look at it!!!

And he sure could have used these pj pants yesterday as he battled a terribly high fever!!! Not a good day or night for Sweet Ethan. He only had a high fever and some vomiting (sorry!) so our doctor does not think it is the flu. He thinks it is just a "fever virus." I had never even heard of this until I moved to this area. Ethan perked up a little today....but I feel quite certain the fever will come back tonight. Hopefully tomorrow he will feel even better though. And hopefully no one else in the family will come down with whatever this is!!!

Oh those days, when one of your children is under the weather, can be so taxing. But I like your attitude Cindy, just keep on sewing ;-)

blessings and praying that little Ethan feels better soon.

I need to tackle some pj pants for the girls. I just cannot bring myself to pay $10 - $15 for pajamas or a nightgown, when their preferance is a long baggy nightgown or a t-shirt and baggy pj pants. Surely even with my limited sewing skills I can do that. Maybe that's what I'll do for Christmas. Thanks for the inspiration.

Thanks Maria!!! Sewing keeps me sane pretty much through everything!!! And yes, Ethan is feeling better and so far no one else has gotten it...so the doctor must have been correct!!!

What wonderful little boy fabric! I remember the warm, snuggly pajamas my Mom used to make us! What a sweet memory for your little guy....
