The Sewing Has Finally Begun.....

Last night I dusted off the sewing machine. I had to....I'm not even sure when I used it last. I even cleaned up under the throat plate.....pretty linty!!! Then I promptly started sewing the first halloween costume. My Bernina cuts through this tulle like butter....that's a good thing. I have made a few things here and there with tulle.....it doesn't always cooperate the way I would like. But so far so good this time around!!!

I also started working on a winter bishop for Elisabeth. I am trying a few different things with this one. I'll talk more about it as I progress....I'm anxious to see if my "twists" will work or not.

SAGA annual convention is coming up this week in Atlanta. I am not attending the classes...but my sweet family is nice enough to go with me to shop at the Market which is open to the public. There should be plenty of vendors and interesting things to look at. We are also going to head over to American Girl for a yummy lunch at their bistro. This will be fun!!! It will be a nice weekend journey!!!
